On the one hand, the Lord Jesus sees the human condition and possibilities, and on the other, He gazes what salvation is. Moreover, Jesus’ eyes are full of love as He sees the struggles, the uncertainties, the perplexities of His disciples. He does not look haughtily, with pity, but with kindness, peace and hope.
