But they said to Him, Why do the disciples of John fast frequently, and make supplications, and those of the Pharisees act similarly, while Yours eat and drink? (Lk 5:33)
Οἱ δὲ εἶπαν πρὸς αὐτόν· οἱ μαθηταὶ Ἰωάννου νηστεύουσιν πυκνὰ καὶ δεήσεις ποιοῦνται ὁμοίως καὶ οἱ τῶν Φαρισαίων, οἱ δὲ σοὶ ἐσθίουσιν καὶ πίνουσιν.
At illi dixerunt ad eum: Quare discipuli Ioannis ieiunant frequenter, et obsecrationes faciunt, similiter et Pharisæorum: tui autem edunt, et bibunt?
