And Herod said: I beheaded John. So then, who is this, about whom I hear such things? And he sought to see him. (Lk 9:9)
εἶπεν δὲ ὁ Ἡρῴδης· Ἰωάννην ἐγὼ ἀπεκεφάλισα· τίς δέ ἐστιν οὗτος περὶ οὗ ἀκούω τοιαῦτα; καὶ ἐζήτει ἰδεῖν αὐτόν.
Et ait Herodes: Joannem ego decollavi: quis est autem iste, de quo ego talia audio? Et quærebat videre eum.
