To be afraid (φοβέομαι fobeomai)

But they did not understand the word. And they were afraid to question Him. (Mk 9:32)

οἱ δὲ ἠγνόουν τὸ ῥῆμα, καὶ ἐφοβοῦντο αὐτὸν ἐπερωτῆσαι.

At illi ignorabant verbum: et timebant interrogare eum.
