Philip found Nathanael, and he said to him, We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets: Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth. (Jn 1:45)
invenit Philippus Nathanahel et dicit ei quem scripsit Moses in lege et prophetae invenimus Iesum filium Ioseph a Nazareth.
Nathanael, in order to truly live as someone whom God gave (נְתַנְאֵל), first had to experience an encounter with Him.
