The Word

Word (λόγος logos)

Heaven and earth shall pass away. But My words shall not pass away. (Lk 21:33)

ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ παρελεύσονται, οἱ δὲ λόγοι μου οὐ μὴ παρελεύσονται.

Caelum et terra transibunt, verba autem mea non transibunt.

From the beginning of the Gospel St. Luke leads us on the path of the Word. The Word heals, calls, purifies, forgives. It seeks acceptance and at the same time gives the strength to grow. The one who keeps the Word of God in a good and noble heart brings abundant fruit. The word of Jesus becomes the fabric of our lives. If it is eternal, then all passing can be understood only in the light of that which does not pass away. If I guard the Word in my heart, I am not afraid that the form of this world is passing away.
