Then Jesus, turning around and seeing them following Him, said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to Him, “Rabbi (which means, in translation, Teacher), where do you live?” (Jn 1:38)
στραφεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς καὶ θεασάμενος αὐτοὺς ἀκολουθοῦντας λέγει αὐτοῖς· Τί ζητεῖτε; οἱ δὲ εἶπαν αὐτῷ· Ῥαββί (ὃ λέγεται μεθερμηνευόμενον Διδάσκαλε), ποῦ μένεις;
conversus autem Iesus et videns eos sequentes dicit eis quid quaeritis qui dixerunt ei rabbi quod dicitur interpretatum magister ubi habitas?
When a man follows Christ, God will always turn (στρέφω) towards man.
