To touch (ἅπτομαι haptomai)

Then Jesus, taking pity on him, reached out His hand. And touching him, He said to him: I am willing. Be cleansed. (Mk 1:41)

Lord Jesus does not hesitate to touch our greatest flaws, diseases, and weaknesses. However, it is not a helpless consolation that somehow it will work out, but a touch that changes reality (ἅπτομαι).
