By the Gospel, too, you are being saved, if you hold to the understanding that I preached to you, lest you believe in vain. (1Co 15:2)
δι’ οὗ καὶ σῴζεσθε, τίνι λόγῳ εὐηγγελισάμην ὑμῖν, εἰ κατέχετε, ἐκτὸς εἰ μὴ εἰκῇ ἐπιστεύσατε.
per quod et salvamini qua ratione praedicaverim vobis si tenetis nisi si frustra credidistis.
The Word of God is always relevant. The Word constantly works. That is why σῴζεσθε — you are being saved all the time.
