So you are no longer aliens or foreign visitors; you are fellow-citizens with the holy people of God and part of God’s household. (Eph 2:19)
Jesus, through his Blood, reconciled humanity with himself and with God, making peace and removing all hostility. In Him, we also have access to the Father in one Spirit. Through Him, we have become members of the household of God, which means that we have been included in the relationship of the Trinity.
Being members of the household is not only about being in someone’s presence or sharing a common space, but above all a deep, close relationship in which we share our lives with the other.
Today, God invites us to dwell with Him, to enter into His space, and to feel at home. He desires a deep communion and connection with each one of us.
