Behold, the days are approaching, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch. And a king will reign, and he will be wise. And he will exercise judgment and justice upon the earth. (Jer 23:5)
הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם־יְהוָה וַהֲקִמֹתִי לְדָוִד צֶמַח צַדִּיק וּמָלַךְ מֶלֶךְ וְהִשְׂכִּיל וְעָשָׂה מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בָּאָרֶץ׃
ecce dies veniunt ait Dominus et suscitabo David germen iustum et regnabit rex et sapiens erit et faciet iudicium et iustitiam in terra
ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ ἀναστήσω τῷ Δαυιδ ἀνατολὴν δικαίαν καὶ βασιλεύσει βασιλεὺς καὶ συνήσει καὶποιήσει κρίμα καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
The coming Branch will have a rich ancestry, which will include noble people, as well as those who may have heard of nobleness at some point. This Branch will ennoble the entire tree.
