In the hope of the eternal life that God, who does not lie, promised before the ages of time. (Tt 1:2)
Christian hope goes beyond the horizon of temporality. It is not an escape from the realism and hardships of this life, to seek consolation in the eternal. It grows in a heart that is obedient to God, it is strengthened based on God’s promises. Such hope gives meaning to every moment that brings us closer to eternal life. It is among our daily, small hopes for a meeting, for the sunrise, for a good solution to problems. It has a gentle smile on its face, and with this smile, it can inspire trust in those who walk the paths of hopelessness.
