יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ׃
benedicat tibi Dominus et custodiat te.
εὐλογήσαι σε κύριος καὶ φυλάξαι σε.
The blessing from God’s hand primarily introduces us to a relationship with Him. It allows me, through His grace, to draw closer to Him. His blessing is not limited to the old People of God but, in Jesus, extends to all who believe in His Name.
