Voice (φωνή fōnē)

And it happened that, as Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. (Lc 1:44)

We do not know the content of Mary’s greeting, but from Elizabeth’s reaction we can assume that this unique voice was full of peace and joy. A simple “good morning” can be said in dozens of ways. There is also a unique tone that is carried by the breath of the Holy Spirit. The Mary’s voice is like the voice of the Holy Spirit. Young John jumps for joy. Let our hearts tremble with joy when we hear the Magnificat – a joyful song of praise.

Free (ἐλεύθερος eleutheros)

And he said, “From foreigners.” Jesus said to him: “Then the sons are free. (Mt 17:26)

Et ille dixit: Ab alienis. Dixit illi Iesus: Ergo liberi sunt filii.

Freedom can be considered in two aspects: “freedom from…” and “freedom to…” The Lord Jesus introduces Peter to freedom in both dimensions. Henceforth, Peter is to be free from anxiety about money matters. The second area of freedom opens with the joy of being a son of the One Father. I am free to love.

To see (θεωρέω theōreō)

For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. (Jhn 6:40)
