And it happened that, as Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. (Lc 1:44)
ἰδοὺ γὰρ ὡς ἐγένετο ἡ φωνὴ τοῦ ἀσπασμοῦ σου εἰς τὰ ὦτά μου, ἐσκίρτησεν ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει τὸ βρέφος ἐν τῇ κοιλίᾳ μου.
Ecce enim ut facta est vox salutationis tuae in auribus meis, exsultavit in gaudio infans in utero meo.
We do not know the content of Mary’s greeting, but from Elizabeth’s reaction we can assume that this unique voice was full of peace and joy. A simple “good morning” can be said in dozens of ways. There is also a unique tone that is carried by the breath of the Holy Spirit. The Mary’s voice is like the voice of the Holy Spirit. Young John jumps for joy. Let our hearts tremble with joy when we hear the Magnificat – a joyful song of praise.
